It could be a burst pipe, a fire in a neighboring suite, a workplace violence incident, a weeklong power outage or a global pandemic....it doesn’t have to be a natural disaster that could close your law firm or affect its reputation. Does your firm’s current business continuity plan address all the essential components necessary to seamlessly continue providing services to clients? As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to impact the current business landscape around the world, law firm leaders are looking at their business continuity and risk management programs to determine current and future risks to their firms and help make vital business decisions. In this session we will discuss business continuity and pandemic planning and the steps that your firm can take now to protect your employees, make informed business decisions for returning to the workplace, working with clients and ensuring organizational resiliency and profitability. Items such as continuing to have a remote work environment while also phasing back to an office work setting, the future of providing services to clients, risk management and compliance issues, crisis communication systems, and comprehensive written business continuity plans will be discussed.

Please consider inviting co-workers and other managers in your office interested in learning about this valuable topic.

#TELLYOURSTORY; The Art of Storytelling & Building Your Brand through Visual Media

Session Description

In this digital era, it is probably no stretch of the imagination to say that your firm is online. You have a website, maybe a Facebook page, a LinkedIn account, or you are sending out regular emails to your mailing list. Whether you’re just dabbling in the online arena or doing all that and more, with each interaction you are telling your firm’s story. But what story are you telling? And are you using the relationship building power of your people to help weave that story visually?

In this session, you will learn marketing techniques on how to:
Build your story visually
Elevate your story visually
Share your story with your chosen target market
Learn techniques, in a workshop setting, utilized by other businesses that focus on brand building and establishing your firm as an influencer in your industry.

Learning Objectives

Attendees in this interactive workshop style session will learn marketing strategies and skills that can be utilized to build, elevate and share visually the brand story of their own lawyers, practices areas and firm.
A workbook will be provided to document the shared learnings of the following elements:
Why is storytelling so valuable?
How to build, elevate and share your brand story.
Why becoming an influencer in your community is important to the continued growth of your brand...and more.

The goal of this session is for each attendee to create and utilize this storytelling workbook as a foundation or companion tool to assist in their own firm branding efforts.
